Default Transplanting

I have a couple trees that need to be transplanted. When is the best time to do this, preferably this spring sometime or i will end up loosing them. Three of them are only about 5 feet tall and the trunk is only about 5-7" round. Its a very nice and healthy looking trees.

What are some guidlines to transplanting a tree? Thanks.
