Default good splitter

Iron and Oak, Timberwolf, Supersplit....all excellent machines. Just a bit high on price for maybe 10 cords a year splitting. Get the biggest husky/speeco from tractor supply you can afford and you'll be fine. Speeco has excellent customer service if you ever need anything. Look for pump size as that is what determines cycle speed (in/out of ram). And you need a 1/2hp per 1gpm of flow. If the machine is going to be stored outside, make sure the ram is fully retracted to prevent rust forming on it. Take the hitch off and chain it to something 10x bigger than you think it needs to be chained to....it'll grow legs really quick if you don't.
